The mission of the Muncie Light Horse Club is to create, stimulate, and maintain interest in saddle horses of the light horse breed.

To promote the owning, showing, and recreational use of light horses and ponies.

To encourage the art of horsemanship in all its various skills as applied in methods of learning to ride and show light horses.

To foster the common interest in horses by means of better social relations and mutual good fellowship of all who participate in same.

To work with and encourage young riders (including 4-H horse and pony club members) to become accomplished horsemen.

Who we are:
The MLHC has been active since 1942 in Muncie and surrounding communities. Our activities have included a variety from horse shows to trail riding, volunteering in the community to hosting fundraisers.
Our members are from all walks of life and professions but share a common love for the horse. The club's objective is to create, stimulate, and maintain interest in saddle horses of the light horse breed.
The club members meet on the second Monday of the month from October to May with a carry-in dinner and guest speakers. Warmer months include rides and other club outings and activities. MLHC is always seeking new members.
Membership:
Family membership is $25 and singles are $20. Membership forms may be submitted at any time.
